MARIANNE ANDERSON OVAL RING
DESCRIPTION:
Stunning oval pearl / garnet ring in 18k gold setting. The decorative pattern on the solid oxidized silver band compliments the setting beautifully. Pearl layers wonderfully with Marianne's Button pearl ring. Garnet layers wonderfully with Marianne's Round garnet ring.
Marianne Anderson, goldsmith and designer, is based in Glasgow, Scotland and crafts each piece by hand.
"Oxidized" sterling silver has been specially treated to advance the natural tarnishing of silver. Marianne's silver will naturally polish with use over time, producing a lovely shiny luster, highlighting the intricate detail of protruding areas. Rings can always be re-oxidized, or you can maintain the beautiful contrast of the shiny and oxidized areas.
