EXHIBIT 8 // DECEMBER 2016 POLLY WALES FINE JEWERLY Perfectly imperfect jewelry. Polly, who spent her formative years in London and free-spirited Brighton in England, always had a strong affinity for the arts. She studied sculpture early on and later studied jewellery at The Royal College of Art in London. Although Polly is a classically trained fine artist, she has always had a penchant for breaking the mold. “I found that jewellery, rather than sculpture, allowed me to make pieces that spoke directly to more people…I loved making for making’s sake and creating a final product from an aesthetic view point rather than one based on theory and rules,” she says. Through jewellery, Polly set out to make pieces that molded and evolved along with the person wearing it. The treasured relationship with the piece of jewellery would become more and more precious over the years. Trunk Show Dec. 7, 4-7pm More about Polly

EXHIBIT 04 // OCTOBER 2014 A TALE OF PLANT & POT-KOHEI ODA & ADAM SILVERMAN IN KYOTO Following its successful launch at their home base in Los Angeles, Chariots on Fire presents a new chapter in the Tale of Plant & Pot show. The first showing of these specially commissioned, one-of-a-kind pieces, unveiled the natural alchemy of potter and horticulturalist at work. With this second installment, the intrepid team behind Chariots on Fire lead you on an adventure through Gion and Nishijin, two of the most historic parts of Kyoto. On View 18-31 October  2014. EXHIBIT 02 // APRIL 2014 A TALE OF PLANT & POT (LA) "The union of Oda’s tantalizing succulents and Silverman’s pottery, which exudes its own exotic allure, has yielded objects that somehow transcend art and nature into the realm of the sublime. The show is not to be missed." - Architectural Digest April 2014 Fascinated by the relationship of art to nature, Chariots on Fire has commissioned renowned LA-based potter Adam Silverman to create a new set of work filled with the plant artistry of Kohei Oda, owner of Qusamura, an award-winning plant shop in Japan. While the two will work independently they will be sharing a common vision based on their love of the natural world and the age-old harmony between pot and plant. The result is an exchange of ideas designed like the best of relationships, formed by common interest and a shared understanding of space and form.  On View 23 April - 7 May 2014. Reception with Artists 27 April 2014. Download full press release
