Introducing: Brooke Gregson’s Fine Jewelry

It’s rare to find jewelry that carries the thrill of discovery.

We first met over textiles. She came searching for fabrics to use as backdrops for her jewelry show. That brief encounter turned into a conversation about texture and color—and later, an invitation . . .

A visit to her studio soon followed, and I was instantly captivated. Her world was alive with color. Even her diamonds weren’t your typical whites—they sparkled in tones of champagne, cognac, and speckled blacks. These are gemstones with personality and depth, chosen with intention and paired with complementary stones that spoke to one another. Few jewelers handle color with such intuition, layering hues like a painter.

Gold, shaped through her goldsmith’s hands, becomes surface and story. Sometimes carved, sometimes finished in glossy enamel, it carries the imprint of touch. Stones may be precisely faceted or left in their raw, undulating form—polished just enough to reveal their inner beauty. Her opals shimmer like liquid light: at times as translucent as a sunlit stream, other times as blue and infinite as the Mediterranean in midsummer.

There’s something about her work that recalls textiles. Each piece is deeply tactile — the way materials intertwine to create texture, the way light moves through layers and threads.

She gravitates toward joyful motifs— candies, rainbows, butterflies, zodiac signs—but make no mistake: these are jewels for the discerning tastemaker. Each stone is custom-set to follow its contour, often in sleek Georgian bezel settings —an elegant and deceptively difficult craft. Her Astrology collection is hand-pounded, each surface evoking the quiet mystery of the moon, with brilliant diamonds catching the light across its texture. Her chains subtly shift from round to flat links, catching light differently as the day turns to night.

Jewelry like this doesn’t simply adorn—it becomes part of you: intimate, expressive, enduring. There’s a subtle gravity to it, a kind of magic that ties everything—and everyone—together.
