High Fire #3; Planet Wakusei is a collection of works by artist Tenshin Juba, whose atelier located in the lush hillside of Japan serves as a sanctuary for Juba to work in rhythm with the cycles of nature.

Juba's artistic approach demonstrates a profound connection with his environment — from the bounty of the earth, he utilizes a mix of raw materials from rocks, fertile clay, fallen trees and other organic matter. It is terrain Juba has explored since childhood, a familiar place that also ignites his desire to experiment.

Also central to Juba’s practice is his fascination with the natural element of fire. By subjecting his work to extreme temperatures peaking at 2336°F / 1280°C, Juba orchestrates a metamorphosis of earthen minerals inherent in his works.
