OBJET
A collection of works by alchemist potter, Tenshin Juba, whose atelier located in the lush hillside of Japan serves as a sanctuary for Juba to work in rhythm with the cycles of nature. The glaze is 100% natural in origin.
Story of Alchemy:
The wood firing process, (lasting approximately 7 days) and reaching intense temperatures of up to 2336°F (1280°C), reveals a spectrum of textures and colors.
This includes glassy pools of mint blue-green, crackle off-white, high-polish metallics in inky black, platinum and nude, as well as the rugged appearance of rocks pierced through the surfaces, achieved through the ichi-haze “stone-burst” technique.
